I was abused as a child, and in turn did the same to my children. The difference is I realizwed this and got help. It is because of programs like these that we can save the children and stop the seemingly endless cycles. My children were placed into foster homes and placed with a family that can support them better so I could get help for my addicttions and other problems.
when children grow up unloved this makes them have low or no self esteem,causing them to do anythink for love or affection. my mother only gave love as a reward for doing what she wanted..
i was abused as a child and i have never over come the trauma and i am now a grandmother myself.i could have been such a better parent myself if i would have had parents that caredabout me.. i thought this was the way all families where.al my parents cared about was money..the children just got in the way of what they wanted in life.

Who does a small child turn to when their parent is beating them? How do they know it is wrong if they have no other example of what life could/should be???? Abused children=abused adults and the cycle continues on.

The laws for Child Abuse need to be tougher, including mandatory time with the general prison population. No special privilages - specifically isolation from the general prison population. And I can't see putting a child back into an abusive situation, even if the abuser has done time and taken parenting classes. Use my clicks to toughen the laws against offenders.
Maybe you have heard about this story. A little girl dying from brain cancer wants to see her Dad before she dies, father not allowed to be with her. But, a sex offender can and often is released from jail with no time spent. The laws are not for our children!!!

I am only 12 years old and I want to do something so parents out there I need help to start a group to raise money for UNICEF. Please help me! I am a mother of a grown son now. But when he was growing up, I was told that I hovered over him to much. I made sure that I spent plenty of time with him. I opened my home to his friends and their families. The problem still today, that parents are still to selfish to satisfy someone else needs. Parents wake-up and open your eyes. No one asked to be born, but once you are here, please take care and protect them.
I am a CASA volunteer and I have seen many, many instances where children are abuse on a daily basis. This needs to stop. We need to teach parents how to better care for their students, take care of their own issues, take parenting classes, teach them skills for job searching and most importantly, make sure that the students are safe, their needs met and are not abused. Even if it means that the child has to be removed from their home. These children are going to be our future leaders someday and they need to be taken care of, NOW.
No child should have to suffer from any kind of abusive behavior. These children did not ask to be born. Children weren't made to be punching bags. These sick people deserve the same treatment these poor little angels get. If you can't care for a child give them to someone who will love them.

Convicted sex abusers need to be under restriction or jail for the rest of their lives. They will do it again

No child deserves to be abused! I was abused by my stepfather and after years of that treatment my mother finally got the nerve to leave him , I don\'t want other childern to go through what I went through or worse!!!
